The walks again coincide with the “Britain on the
Move” campaign run by ITV
in conjunction with the Ramblers’ Association and several other organisations.
This is the biggest initiative yet to encourage people in Britain to get out
and exercise.
People throughout the country are being encouraged to take
part in some
form of walking event – so what better than ours!
ITV are supporting the Wigan and Leigh Hospice walks by
including it on
their website as one of their listed events. You can be part of ITV’s
day of
walking simply by walking for the Hospice.
