The walks, of varying lengths, will take place on Sunday
18th September
starting from 9.30am onwards. The main 20k walk will be a circular route
taking in the Hospice gardens in Hindley, Wigan Flashes, Three Sisters Recreation
Area and Pennington Flash. Shorter walks are around areas at Three Sisters,
Viridor Wood and Pennington Flash.
The carefully planned routes are through some of the most
attractive areas
of local countryside. For the most part, it will be along recognised paths
and
canal banks so that you will be able to experience at first hand a healthy
and interesting way to keep fit and raise money for a good cause.
